Korean supermarkets – better than tourist spots

Visiting a supermarket in one country can be as much, if not more revealing, than traveling to all tourist sites. I live in South Korea and visit the N Seoul Tower, which is considered one of the major tourist destinations in Seoul. I told a Korean friend about what she lived in Korea all her life, and she has never been. But a Korean supermarket: this is another story. Go to the Korean supermarket, where Koreans visit at least once a week and find so many interesting things about their culture and just great things in general: for example: 1) Extremely crowded. He is crowded on weekends. You will not be able to walk straight and just get what's on your list. Be prepared to bypass. Be prepared to stop. What's cool in this experience, however, is that your shopping carts are built for crowds. Not only does your trolley go forward but it goes left and right, smooth and seamless. Find yourself lucky enough to push a cart in an empty trail, and you will never want to venture any more than a Korean supermarket. Do you feel hungry but have a limited budget? Go to a supermarket and eat more than you can. We are talking about free samples of fruits, milk, cheese, yoghurt, steak (yes, steak), donuts and more. Besides, you do not have to worry about the right rule. In Korea you will find many people who will take a bunch of samples, so do not be ashamed to do the same. 3) Get ready for some noise. Forget about the quiet shopping music you may be used to. Instead of music, you get used to screaming. Many shouted. The men screamed. They'll call from the whole store just to let you know about the sale. MEAT SALE! Delicious meat sale! Come here and take this really tasty meat! You will know about the sale without even reading a sign of it. This is the work of these men. And it's not as easy as just going to sell meat and picking some: there will be a number of people waiting to take (remember big crowds?). So wait in line to get the product, and then wait in another line to pay for it.

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the great things you can find at the Korean supermarket. I will not tell you the rest, because it will ruin the fun. But if you ever find yourself in Korea, miss one or two tourist spots and go to the Korean supermarket. You will not regret!
